Enjoyed the spotless cleanliness of the rooms, particularly the double room with a fantastic sea view. The breakfast was a standout, offering a wide selection that catered to all tastes. I loved the pancakes with fresh fruit, a delightful treat! Kevin, our host, provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and was always ready to help with any inquiries. The comfortable beds made for restful nights, and the tea and coffee facilities were a nice touch. The only drawback was the numerous stairs, which could be a challenge for those with mobility issues, especially since there’s no lift. On the first night, parking became a hassle as finding on-street parking took longer than expected, but we managed better afterward. Would definitely consider returning for the amazing breakfasts alone!

The breakfast was absolutely outstanding, offering an enormous choice fit for any palate! I was particularly impressed by the full English breakfast that was beyond compare—an absolute treat. The room was beautifully decorated with lovely white bed linen, making my stay even more delightful.
do recommend 😊❤️

Traffic noise from the road outside can be distracting, especially with a breakfast room overhead that adds to the clatter. The shower in some rooms may feel a bit cramped, which could be an issue for larger folks. Plus, a second armchair in some rooms would be a nice touch, though space is tight.

Struggling to navigate those steep stairs was not fun at all!!! Parking situation around the hotel left much to be desired. Spent unnecessary time moving the car to comply with the confusing disc zones!!!

Had a blast with friends! The location is ideal for exploring, close to the waterfront and easy access to the trams. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choice. Staff were super friendly. We made sure to visit the local theatre and the electric railway, which was fun. Totally recommend planning a bit extra time for breakfast since it’s freshly cooked.
The only downside was the lack of a lift, we ended up on the top floor, and those stairs were a workout! Not great after a long day out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, as the hotel was perfectly positioned between the Electric Tram and the Steam Train, giving us easy access to both attractions. The hospitality of the staff made us feel very welcome, and we loved the delicious breakfast options available. Plus, there were plenty of restaurants nearby where we had delightful meals during our five nights.
The only downside was the absence of a lift, which made navigating the stairs quite challenging after our daily excursions.
